You are not the only one who can “follow a digital trail,” Sicon. I do background checks on all my minions… especially when they are accusing each other of fraud. So I found your little hangout. I only skimmed a few threads, enough to discover your planned deception, but seeing how it seems to be a base of operations, it made sense to direct people that way.

I haven’t taken greater action because it didn’t seem important. Talking about deceiving me is desirably evil. Actually attempting to follow through with such deception, however, is foolish. 

Needless to say I will be keeping tabs on all your efforts. Despite your talk of deception, I see real action being taken, and that pleases me. Much more that some of the other things in this world are, right now…

It seems I was right in my choice– my new campaign managers are already setting our evil in motion. Since a large part of their plan seems to involve posters, I have decided to workshop a sample of what I would like to see.

If you believe in my cause, you may use it to promote my campaign. You may also use it as a basis for inspiration if you are artistically inclined. Either way, my message will be spread across this wretched land, and I trust you will all be on my side when I become Wizard!

I have read through countless applications – some of which showed promising evil aptitude, some of which proved disappointing – and I have finally come to my decision.

My new campaign manager is Sarah T. Her connections and ideas have convinced me that she is the candidate who will help me ascend to the top of this mess you call the Democratic Process.

She will be aided by Andrew and Greg S., two men who I am confident will be the best right and left hands a campaign manager could ask for.

Now. It is time we begin brainstorming. Failure is not an option – this world is too chaotic and must be made to conform for simplicity’s sake. It falls to the hands of my campaign management team, who I’m certain would not enjoy seeing what I do should we lose.

So I was watching the news, and they said something about an “earthquake”. I didn’t know what that meant, so I looked it up. Turns out an earthquake is exactly what it sounds like. When everything breaks. Cities get torn down in minutes. Huge waves swamp entire towns. One happened in a place called Haiti not too long ago, another in Japan.

Who caused it? No one caused it. It just kind of happened. I have caused destruction like this – heck, I’ve caused destruction exactly like this before – but I’ve always done it with a purpose in mind. A goal. And there was a way that it all seemed to build up into…I don’t know. A story.

I don’t know where I fit into all of this. What is the point in being wicked if evil things happen without me lifting a finger? Maybe when I am Wizard, I will have the ability to channel this chaos more effectively. Now, it just all feels… wrong.

One thing’s for sure, I need to get this campaign underway. I will be selecting my manager soon.

Today the first round of applications came in. A wide selection of minion candidates, many of which were interesting and warrant further review. I had to curse a few of them, however, for insolence or other forms of deception.
