I walked by a house today and saw a beautiful wardrobe in one of the windows. I broke into the house and opened the wardrobe and ran inside… it didn’t work. Though the books you guys recommended CLEARLY INDICATED that this was a method of inter-dimensional travel. It doesn’t look like that source was reliable.
However, a new potential lead. Someone told me about a girl who traveled to another world by walking through a mirror. I’ll be gone for a bit to see if I can locate a mirror like this. I’ll respond to you all when I finish my quest (unless I’m successful).
Please don’t, WWotW. In those stories, only special wardrobes and mirrors did that in special circumstances. Under normal circumstances, running into a mirror will be very painful.
Some people think that when you die, you go into a different world.
That’s never been confirmed. Besides, she may not like where she ends up.
I think that it’s a “Looking-Glass” and not a mirror. But I don’t even know if there’s a difference.
I… think that’s not exactly a scientific approach, lady Witch.
I understood your last post as an attempt to analyze the interdimensional travels and… I don’t know, apply your magic to repeat them? But I don’t think just trying out fictional means of transportation is going to work. They are called ‘fictional’ for a reason.
Oh, I remeber one story which you can find online.

On it, sometimes the characters travel between the real and the imaginary world using windows and playing make-believe. Wanna try the latter?
I’m telling ya, SLIDERS
I’m sure you’re already aware, due to you having read our forums, but we are looking for ways of sending you back, that don’t involve ramming yourself head first into every mirror you see.
Mr. A has given us a tool known as “Layar”. We use them to find echoes. These echoes, once analyzed, should be able to give us some answers as to how we can return you to Oz. We found your echo already. Just go to this link: http://xovr.twwf.info/i_fpE5Uty8.php and enter the password “Gurt” to see what we found. Obviously, it takes the form of a comic, and hopefully you recognize the scene it depicts. There are no clear answers yet, but we are one step closer.
By the way, does that small cloud hanging above your head seem odd to you? We don’t typically have those in this world. In fact, we consider that to be physically impossible. What’s your take on it?
I remember that cloud. I hated it.
Look, since all the rest of this nonsense isn’t getting us anywhere, perhaps you would like to take note of what we have managed to discover about the format of reality.

You would think someone would have linked that to you already, but apparently NOT…
I would have been here before, but I’ve been busy in other areas. That link sends you to a thread that more or less sums up what we know about the basic structure of the world. Once you get a good grasp of that, if you can, you should be able to really begin experiments. Possibly combining that nature with your own knowledge of the rules of magic.
Some have suggested that you can no longer use magic here, and you seem to imply that as well, however, it may only be a matter of time till that leaks through as well. In any case, basic spell knowledge and the understanding of the mechanics of the whole thing should give you a fresh perspective on travel between worlds.
